​I had the most AWESOME opportunity to be a photographer for the Midway Ice Castles advertising for the 2nd time, and IT WAS BREATHTAKING!! It was SUCH a wonderful and humbling experience. The Ice Castles are always such a wondrous site to behold and I hope I did them justice :):) I had a REALLY hard time narrowing down to the best images to submit :):) That place is just MAGNIFICENT!! We had so much fun and for the first time Stephanie shot in Manual mode the ENTIRE shoot!! Big day for her :):) I am soooo proud of her! ​I'm so thankful to know so many wonderfully talented photographers and have so many great friends in this industry :):) My husband and I were so lucky to be able to be apart of the World Wide Photo Walk 2016!! It was something truly magical and made for one incredibly awesome date night ;);) One of my very talented friends Scott Stringham from Rustling Leaf Designs put on a photo walk and also a light painting get together! He is a HUGE photography idol of mine and I have wanted to go on one of his photo walks for YEARS!! It was a dream come true to get to on such a special day :):) My grandpa passed away that morning and I was in the dumps to say the least. But this, made for the best evening and helped me think of all the happy things and memories of my Grandpa. I felt so close to him as we were photographing the INCREDIBLE sunset and beautiful lightning storm. Then ending the evening with the grand finale of light painting with fire and a pixel stick :):) What a wonderful night shooting along side my sweet husband :):) Thank you Scott for putting on such a fun class and a night my hubby and I will forever remember!!

It was soooo much fun to teach these fabulous photographer's about movement in your images :):) I got a bunch of photographer's together, three models and a gorgeous location and we played with lighting, shooting wide open, playing with low lighting, manual mode, constantly moving models and some wicked creative ideas!! It was so much fun to get to know these photographer's better and enjoy watching them light up when they got a fabulous shot!! Made my heart happy to see them all loving every second!! I really enjoy teaching and giving back to other photographer's cuz I had soooo many do that for me! I promised myself the SECOND I felt I could give back, I would. I have made so many friends, had so many fun shoots and enjoyed learning from each and every one of them as well! I will be teaching more classes in the future you can bet on that!! :):)

I have attended a TON of webinars the entire time I've been photographing!! I have learned so much about editing in Lightroom, posing, marketing, teaching others, lighting, creative shooting, ect!! But! I attended a webinar a week ago from Katelyn James on '5 ways posing is ruining your client experience' and let me tell you, it was the BEST most informative webinar I have EVER attended! I was so thankful to be apart of it and I got 12 pages of amazing notes :):) She is a photography rockstar and it was an honor to attend her webinar!! My photo was selected for the Lds Youth Facebook page!! Here's the link!! It's a picture of the Mesa, Arizona LDS temple. It was a picture I took after a family session I took there this March. It was right before a sandstorm and the colors in the sky were UNREAL, so so stunning!! Those photos are basically untouched!! That is really the colors in the sky :):) How GORGEOUS is that!?!?!? I was asked by my good friend, Kylie Howes from Kylie Elizabeth Photography to teach her Lightroom from import to export. We were on Skype for 2 ish hours. I taught her a bunch of ways to make her life easier in the editing world of Lightroom :):) It was such a compliment that she asked ME to help her learn Lightroom :):) Thanks Kylie! I had THE most incredible time mentoring another up and coming photographer Jake!! I just LOVE teaching other passionate photographers. Jake is such a stud and was totally soaking in every ounce of info I was giving him and teaching him. He's only 16!! He is crazy talented and going places!! I'm so excited to see more photography from him!! Thank you so much Jake for spending the evening shooting with me, listening to my advice and thank you so so much for hiring me for a mentoring shoot! I had a BLAST teaching you!! We also got together again a couple evenings later and he asked me to teach him about editing in Lightroom, which is the program I use to edit my images. I taught him a ton of tricks and I learned a ton myself! It's always fun to teach cuz in the process I learn too!! Such a fun evening with some great company!

​I had the most amazing opportunity to mentor and teach Heather Young about lighting, posing and all sorts of camera tricks this last weekend :):) We had a total blast!! ​I was so so blessed to be asked to photograph the SUU Ballroom Dance Team in Cedar City, UT this April!! It was so so much fun! I have a very very long ballroom dancing history background myself so I have a deep love and appreciation for it and was in pure heaven. My best friend Dustin Liechty is now the instructor for the SUU BDC!! It was amazing to see his choreography and talent :):) I'm so incredibly proud of him and all he has accomplished. I'm also so very stoked to have been their photographer for their finale of their end of year performance!! It was pure magic, the dancing was inspiring and the costumes were stunning!! I was super privileged to be asked by my dear friend and fellow photographer Mindi Hamilton from Mindi Hamilton Photography, to photograph the Midway Ice Castles this year!! It was more then a dream come true! I have been wanting to photograph the ice castles for YEARS!! To get the opportunity brought a tear to my eye! I went with the Utah Night Owl Photo Shoots and shot to my heart's content :):) We were asked to photograph the Ice Castles for the owner's! So hopefully ( finger's crossed ) they'll use one of my photos and publish it for their advertising!! How exciting is that?!?! ​I attended yet another fabulous class by Erin Summerill, one of my photography idols!! Pop, lock and pose was a very amazing and inspirational class! I just love Utah County Studio Co-op for always putting on the best classes! I FILL my notebook up with soooo much awesomeness at each class. This one was particularly special to me :):) I really love learning about how other successful photogs pose their clients and what tricks they use to get them to smile, do funny things and capture those amazing candids! Erin is amazing at that and I am so blessed to once again have gotten the opportunity to learn from her! I also purchased her book, Clickologie!! She signed it and my heart skipped a beat :):) I just adore her and her photography! Thank you so so much UCSCO and Erin Summerill for a night to remember!! <3!!

I was so lucky/blessed to attend yet another GREAT photo class! This time we actually paid a small fee and got to photograph two models as we played with real fire and glow sticks! Thank you so so much Jeremy Hall and Pete Stott for putting on yet another fabulous photo class down at Utah County Studio Co-op! I always learn so much at these classes and it's so so fun to learn such creative new ways to photograph!! Thank you Mindi Hamilton for helping me to better learn Bulb mode since I to forgot a tripod and remote (I don't normally shoot at night) So all my shots were taken with a very, VERY still hand. It's always such a privilege and honor to shoot beside such greatness! I saw so many friends and made a few new ones :):) So grateful for the time I get to spend at these classes. I always come out a better photographer :):)

I was asked by the creater of Beautyrevived.com to be one of Utah's chosen 25 photographers to photograph Utah's 50 most beautiful women!! What an HONOR!! It's a moving project where each photographer finds two beautiful women to photograph for free. We are giving back :):) I found three... lol I couldn't choose just two! Beauty revived is all about real women, with real inner beauty, real stories, no photoshopping to a size 2! Beauty comes in all shapes in sizes. I already knew of one girl that was everything that beauty revived stands for and then some, Kimmie Walker. Then I found my next two by nominations. I then put all the names in a bowl and had my daughter draw out a name. She drew two names that were stuck together, I took that as a sign and I photographed both Kamille Bauer and Hilary Curtis! I met Mindi Hamilton from Mindi Hamilton Photography at the Harley Davidson photo shoot and we just knew we were going to be friends lol! Sometimes you just know! Her and I have been dying to do a dual shoot together and we were so excited to get that chance! Mindi and I shot a vintage inspired photo shoot together! We collaborated ideas and played off each other's work. Working along side her genius self was an experience I'll never forget! I was so honored to work with her. She is EXTREMELY talented!! ​I received a message from Kelsey Bailey from Kelsey Bailey Photography on FB asking me if I would ever consider letting her come with me on a photo shoot so she could learn. Um YEAH!!!! I was thrilled when I read that. She is just starting out and wanted to know anything I could teach her. That to me is the BIGGEST COMPLIMENT EVER that she wanted to learn from me. I always get so excited, I love to teach/mentor others to not only help them achieve beautiful images but find their own unique style and twist! Kelsey rocked every second of this shoot and seriously we all had a blast! She is a truly talented individual and I'm so excited to see where her passion for photography leads her! I had the most wonderful opportunity to shoot with a bunch of photographers at the Harley Davidson building in Lindon, UT! We had dozens of models and dozens of photographers! It was so so much fun to be apart of! Harley Davidson has never let ppl in to photograph inside the building, so I was one of the lucky few! It was such a great experience and so fun to put models on amazing, gorgeous, (expensive) motorcycles and others brought their stunning vintage cars as well! It was soooo much fun! Thank you to ALL the models I worked with, the photographer's I worked along side and became friends with, all who put this event on and made it happen and a special thanks to my friends for coming and enjoying this sick experience with me!!

​I had the BEST time working along side the INCREDIBLE Rod Taylor from Skijor Fotografix! I learned so so much from Rod, I loved meeting him! We decided to do a 'neon grunge' photo shoot together and it turned out so beautifully! I have never shot grunge before, so Rod showed me the ropes (since grunge is his specialty) He is so great at posing, talking to our model, making it all so fun and an absolute pleasure to shoot with! ​I was so lucky and honored to attend a class given by Glenn Pearson (a wedding icon in photography) it was all about 'Lighting The Reception'. It was such a great class, I learned a TON, I always do from his classes. I am so excited to try out all his advice and perfect the reception in every single shot :):) Thank you Glenn for such a life-changing class! You are truly an inspiration to me and I look forward to learning more and more from you! Glenn also has helped me soooo much in my camera choice. I had THE most incredible opportunity to work with Steve Vogl who is an AMAZING photographer and part owner at Utah County Studio co-op! He was so kind to take me on a shoot with him! My jaw literally hit the floor when he asked me to come with him on a shoot! I can't believe how much I learned in 2 hours!! I was so in shock the entire time, I have never worked with a professional model before, and seriously Danielle Steck blew my mind! She was so incredible and fiercely beautiful! I had so much fun getting to know these two and a HUGE thank you to both Steve and Danielle for teaching me so much. I am so grateful to say I learned from Steve Vogl, what an absolute honor!! I was so blessed to attend a presentation 'All about the Light' from the one and only Cliff Gull from 2 point 8 studios! He not only taught us all about the physics of light but he did a live demo with a beautiful model, Jessica. It was so fun to see the action happen right there! I learned so much from his class! This month I had the INCREDIBLE honor to attend a photography class about posing from a photographer icon of mine, Erin Summerill from Erin Summerill Photography! I was star struck her whole presentation, I learned soooo much and fill about 15 pages in my notebook with pure Erin Summerill gold! I LOVE attending classes to improve myself and my photography. I am constantly looking for more classes to attend and other photographer's to shoot with! Erin was such an inspiration and lucky me! I got a picture with her! :):) She gave me tips I will NEVER forget and that I have used in my photography/posing ever since! Thank you Erin for making a dream of mine come true!!

I have been working for the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints for about 6 months now! I do it voluntarily, I go once a month with Create/Helping in the Vineyard and take pictures with a select 14 other photographers, we go to a different church site every time and take pictures specifically for church use only. I LOVE sharing my talent and helping out the church. God gave me this talent and thanks to him I continue to progress and love it, the LEAST I can do is give freely of my time, talent and help the church to have photos they can use. They use the photos for anything church related, church magazines, church websites and anything else you can imagine! I'm excited to start seeing my photos in every area of the church. I love helping in the vineyard :):) I will do this as long as I possibly can and as long as I keep getting invited as a wanted photog. I was so so blessed to have met Candice from Ku'Uipo Photography, she told me about this Lightroom class taught by the INCREDIBLE Glenn Pearson! I recently did a dual photo shoot with my dear friend Jessica Sorenson from Onna Lee Photography. I have constantly learned from her over the years, and we have done a ton of shoots together! I LOVE working beside her and collaborating our talents and coming up with something just breathtaking! We did a vintage inspired bridal shoot with two brides. It went amazing, the lighting was dreamy and to work with her again was a dream! I couldn't ask for better friends. I'm so grateful for her and her willingness to do so many shoots with me! I was asked to help assist the amazing Erin Kirkland from Erin Kirkland photography, on one of her newborn photo shoots! I was able to learn so so much! She is so absolutely incredible with newborns and I can't tell you how much I have learned from the two photo shoots I have helped her with! I was asked by the GORGEOUS Tiffany Sessions ( an upcoming photographer to look for! ) If I would teach her some photography tricks and how I work my sessions, my style, ect. I taught her a ton of info and she loved every minute! It's always so fun to teach a fellow photographer who LOVES photography. You can tell she has such a passion for it! And to be a small part of her finding her niche' was such an honor! Love you Tiff! Your going to be one fantastic photographer, better then you already are!

I was asked and so honored to have been asked by the BEAUTIFUL Trisha Montgomery to take her photos for her up coming 2nd album! She is a wonderful musician with the voice of an angel! I am so stoked to announce my photos will be covering her album!! What a blessing and what an honor!! I LOVE taking pictures of musicians and singers since music is such a huge passion for me! I will post the link to see my pictures on her album the second she has finished recording it!!

I have started to teach upcoming photographers due to the many emails I have been receiving from fellow photographers asking if I could bring them along and teach them what I know! Aside from being so flattered and mind blown that they chose me to ask, I was honored! That's how I learned was from other successful photographers. In the month of July 2013 I have had the privilege of teaching Marlyn Hill and Megan from Collide Photography. Marlyn came with me on a bride/groom session and Megan helped me with a newborn session. The girls helped me out a ton and I was able to teach them a lot as well! I have been thinking of offering on site mentoring, so that's in the works! I look forward to working with them more and tutoring many more photographers to come!

In March 2013 I was so lucky to have been chosen, thanks to my dear friend and fellow photographer Erin Kirkland, to attend a workshop put on by the amazing Kandis Broadhead. She owns Wish Photography. It was the most amazing experience to learn from a photographer I very much idolize! I learned soooo many amazing tricks, skills and I am definitely a better photographer after taking in all Kandis had to say!! Thank you soooo much to Erin for putting our names in the drawing and a huge thanks to Kandis for blessing me with this incredible opportunity!

​I recently did a few photo shoots at Rocky Pointe, Mexico! I was hired for a few family photo shoots on the beautiful beach of Rocky Pointe!! I absolutely loved it and captured every tender moment along the way :):)

I was asked to work along beside the fabulous Jessica Sorenson AKA OnnaLee Photography. A photographer/artist I have idolized ever since I first saw her work! She taught me a lot about posing, angels, and all the fun and unique styles she loves and uses. I was so thrilled to be taught by her! Thank you so much Jessica, it was a dream of mine to watch you work as well as be taught by you! Let's do that again soon! Thank you thank you!

 Aubrey Carroll Robinson AKA Every Little Moment Photography asked me to assist her in a bride/groom photo shoot! Of course I said YES! I was so thrilled! She taught me so much about my camera, about lenses, about angels and every other little or big question I had! She is such a great teacher and I learned so so much from her in those few hours then I have in my class! Thank you so much for asking  for my assistance Aubrey.  I worked along side and with Scott Hancock from Scott Hancock photography at Eddy & Becca Schofield's wedding Jan. 3, 2012. He taught me so much about lighting and more about my camera (my baby) He was so sweet to let me help and he coached me for the entire day helping me to achieve the shots I was dying to get! He is an amazing teacher and I'm so thankful for his coaching and teaching me to progress and better my talent and dream! Thank you Scott Hancock!

I was asked to be the Google spokesperson for the video 'Utah Get Your Business Online' and seminar that took place in Salt Lake City, Utah Oct. 2011. For about 45 mins I was asked all sorts of ?'s about my business and what I thought of the seminar. It was a great way to get my business word out and so fun to be in front of the video camera the entire time. The seminar was amazing and I learned so much, being on video and being the spokesperson for the event made it great, beyond my wildest dreams!!
